The leather used in the STS was also very impressive. It was soft and very smooth yet the seat was firm.  The use of wood on the dash was very nice (Cadillac usually has nice wood interiors). The window swtiches/mirror controls were of good quality. I liked that fact that they finally made a GM car without the seatbelts attached to the seats.
